I am the executive editor of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency and New York Jewish Week, where I oversee news and opinion strategy. I work with a group of talented reporters and editors to deliver trusted and fair coverage of global Jewish news as well as stimulating opinion and ideas pieces across the Jewish political and religious spectrum.
I came to 70 Faces Media after multiple news and opinion editing roles at media outlets including CNN Digital, NBC News Digital, Politico and The Washington Post. I also contributed op-eds myself to publications including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post. Before crossing the editing aisle, I covered just about every topic as a reporter for The Jerusalem Post in Israel and Washington and discovered the joy of audio storytelling as the Israel correspondent for American Public Media’s “Marketplace.”
I grew up in Boston and began my career in journalism as the editor-in-chief of The Cornell Daily Sun. I have interviewed world leaders and cultural icons, reported from bomb shelters and the Siberian hinterlands, traveled to more than 50 countries and 40 states and lived in five capital cities. I now reside in Princeton, New Jersey, with my husband, author Lev Golinkin, but remain a loyal member of Red Sox Nation.
