Vanessa Friedman

Vanessa (she/her) is the Deputy Managing Editor for Hey Alma. Prior to joining 70 Faces Media, Vanessa worked as the community editor at Autostraddle, a teaching artist with Literary Arts and an instructor at the Sarah Lawrence College Writing Institute. Her work has been published in Vogue, Nylon, Hey Alma, Catapult, Autostraddle, Shape, and elsewhere. She lives in Portland, OR with her wife, dog, and four chickens.
