I am the Global Editor and the Jerusalem Bureau Chief for JTA, working with a team of amazing reporters and editors to cover news and features critical to Jewish life and the Jewish community in Israel and around the world.
A Brookline native and a graduate of Brandeis University, I began my reporting career outside of Boston earning awards from the New England Press Association and the Massachusetts Press Association before moving to Israel.
I exchanged meetings of the city council for those at the Knesset, the town manager’s headquarters for the prime minister’s office, blizzards for war zones and terror attacks.
As a reporter and as the Deputy Managing Editor of The Jerusalem Post, I covered the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, diplomacy, politics, the United Nations and the Gaza and Lebanon wars. Along the way I have also had bylines at NBC News, The Globe and Mail, the Independent and The World.
